Podcast #17: Body confidence

Body confidence is the ability to love your body and feel happy in it, it is one of the most discussed topics today. This is because it affects everyone, but that does not necessarily mean the ability to feel confident in your body is simple. In our everyday lives, we are often exposed to various people telling us what we should look like or eat, and after a while, these people ruin our perception of what it means to feel safe and positive in our own bodies. It can be overwhelming and the influence of social media platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram etc.) drives these negative beliefs about ourselves. But it is important to understand what is real and what is not or What is healthy and what is not. Remember there is always someone to talk to whether that is a friend or a trusted adult and you can always access help on our website.
